life throws curve balls at us on a daily basis - flat tires, broken pipes, sick children and even sore backs. we have developed systems to adapt to the little surprises that life throws at us. our system not only helps individuals with the mechanical aspect of exercise but, more importantly, emotional side of the equation. the motivation to stick with the system comes from the why, the emotional reason for the commitment to the system. lack of the why is the reason most people make new year’s resolutions to get in shape and abandon them by february 1st.

nearly twenty years in the making, the impact coach provides anyone with a tool that they can utilize at home to overcome the physical challenges of an unscripted world.
the impact coach real fitness program is for everybody - from novices to professional athletes. it provides a "movement based" training routine that grows with the individual. real fitness will improve flexibility, endurance, balance, stability and strength of any person, regardless of their level of conditioning. these improvements are achieved through six training movements that include legs, core, rotation, locomotion, push and pull.
what you will feel in the real fitness program is just that… real - a degree of confusion, a little self-consciousness at trying new things, pride in taking the first step to a healthier and happy life and ultimately joy in successfully achieving your goals.
real fitness came about as a result of developing new systems and will be executed with all of our imperfections and slight deviations. just like real life.

about us
the impact coach was founded by joey vanlaningham with the express mission to provide a community for those committed to changing their life, losing weight and keeping it off. prior to launching the impact coach, coach v was the head trainer in the dr. phil weight loss challenge in elgin, texas and served as a strength & conditioning coach with the university of texas at austin and kansas state university. he also served as the vice president of business development for all-pro training inc.
coach v remains active as a personal trainer, committed to helping others improve the quality of their life by being healthier. a performing musician, coach v’s free time is devoted to his two other passions: his family and his music.

the impact coach develops fitness programs specifically to fuse fitness with wellness to better prepare anyone to cope with life on the go. structural integrity with less pain means less sacrifice making you stronger, healthier and happier in life. make no mistake; it requires a commitment to sweat and exercise. but that investment will act as a preventative treatment in the battle against pain.
